CV2600 Container Vessels (3)

The first three ships built at Philly Shipyard were CV2600 container ships constructed for Matson Navigation. The Philadelphia Class CV2600 container ship was designed for the domestic U.S. and worldwide trade. The vessel are 217m long and have six hatched holds with cell guides for 20‘ and 40‘ containers. On the hatch covers and over the aft mooring deck, 20‘, 24‘, 40‘, 45‘, and 53‘ containers can be stowed. The vessels were ABS class and were delivered between 2003 and 2005.
