Operational plan

Aker Philadelphia plans to build on its previous successes. The order book of nine tankers has been expanded to include options for 13 additional tankers as described below. This depth of business provides the stability needed by the shipyard to improve its operations while providing flexibility to pursue attractive market segments as they emerge.

Production schedule
The figure below illustrates the production schedule for the contracted vessels and the option vessels.



Increasing efficiency at the yard has always been an important operational goal. Building on the successful foundation created in 2007 and 2008 by the AIM 200 program, a new continuous improvement plan termed Project Intrepid has been launched. Project Intrepid expands the scope of our improvements, and cements a culture of continuous improvement throughout the yard for the long term.
